i finally made it back to fairfield, after a few weekends of having to work the day job. the wildflowers are popping! bunches of sego lilies

steve hard at work getting things ready for the final. there was a bit of plumbing trauma that caused us to leave b/c we had no water until it was fixed, and it couldn't be fixed without parts from town....the tile looks great, though, doesn't it?

my next project is to paint the back porch so that we can unclutter the front room, which has potential to look like a real house soon.

the trees & shrubs we bought last fall are doing well- this is a flowering crab apple.
